Sweet Basil is an annual herb with leaves that are strongly and sweetly aromatic.
Basil is a popular ingredient in Mediterranean and Thai dishes. Add to garden salads and tomato dishes. Use sparingly because of the strong flavour.
Growing Sweet Basil
Basil does well in a full sun or partly shaded position. Plants are frost tender.
Grows 90cm high x 60cm wide.
