Lemon Verbena grows as a shrub or small tree and has lance-shaped, strongly lemon-scented leaves and pale mauve flowers in summer.
Plant along pathways where the lemon scent from the leaves can be enjoyed.

Good as a cut flower.
Makes a refreshing tea and used to flavour cakes and other sweet dishes.
Growing Lemon Verbena
Best grown in a warm sheltered position.
Prune in winter to prevent plant from becoming straggly.
Prefers full sun.
Grows 1.5-2.5m high
