Botanic name: Apiuim graveolens var. rapaceum
Health Benefits of Celeriac
Closely related to the more common leaf Celery, Celeriac is known as Root Celery.
The smooth flesh of the gnarled rounded tuber is a good source of essential minerals, vitamins, particularly K, as well as dietary fibre.
Its mild flavour (a cross between Celery and Parsley) makes it a tasty addition to many dishes.
