Sweet Marjoram
Botanical name: Origanum marjorana
Sweet Marjoram has small round leaves that are soft, slightly hairy and aromatic. Small white flowers appear in summer.
The mild spicy flavour is suited to a wide range of meat and vegetable dishes and is often used as a seasoning in stuffing and herb breads.
Growing Sweet Marjoram
Tolerant of extended dry periods.
Trim back in late winter to promote lush new growth in spring.
Prefers full sun.
Grows 45cm high x 30cm wide.
