Botanical name: Thymus citriodorus
The leaves of Lemon Thyme are slightly larger and greener than Garden Thyme. It has a spreading growth habit and pink flowers are produced in spring.
The leaves have an unmistakeable lemon aroma and the milder flavour is suited to fish, chicken and other delicately flavoured dishes.
