Lavender Avonview is a long-blooming shrub with aromatic flowers and foliage. It features vibrant, dark blue flower heads with contrasting violet-purple bracts. Flowers are produced throughout the warmer months and all year round in hotter climates.
It features soft, bright greenish-grey foliage on a compact, bushy shrub to 80cm.
Growing Lavender Avonview
Prefers a warm, open sunny position in well-drained soil.
Frost tolerant but avoid severe frost.
Grows 80cm high x 80cm wide.
For best results mulch well and apply lime in spring.
Remove spent flowers in summer to encourage continuous blooming, and prune back by one third in autumn.
